Parents and guardians are encouraged to arrive promptly at the end of the school day. Your child must be collected on time. Primary students can be collected at 1:15 pm from their classroom. The collection time for Secondary students is 1:35 pm in the main atrium.
Pupils are not permitted to leave the school without a parent or guardian. Only a parent, guardian or senior school pupil who is known to the school should collect primary students. Primary pupils are not permitted to collect younger siblings on their own.
Please note that if a pupil is required to be collected from school early for any reason, the school must be informed in advance. If the school is not informed in advance, an unauthorised absence will be marked in the register.
If your child is attending an Extra-Curricular activity, you should collect your child from the main atrium at 2:30 pm.
Parent Gate Pass
For the safety and welfare of our students, parents must wear a security pass in order to enter the school building. If a driver or nanny will regularly drop-off or collect your child, they too must wear a security pass. RGS Security Arrangements
The official RGSGQ’s security pass has a white lanyard and should be worn at all times whilst at school so they are visible, and adults can be identified easily. The School provides two passes per family free of charge. Additional passes can be purchased at a cost of QR25 per pass.
Parents may request passes by sending an email at idcard@rgsgq.com with the below details:
- Student (Name, Year Group)
- Father (Name, Photo, QID copy)
- Mother (Name, Photo, QID copy)
- Nanny (Name, Photo, QID copy) Extra 25.00 QAR
- Driver (Name, Photo, QID copy) Extra 25.00 QAR
Please note that any adult collecting a pupil must either have a security pass or a photo ID (to exchange for a visitor pass) AND be listed on the school database as being authorized to collect your child.
We only permit adults to collect pupils from the school and will not hand any pupil to an individual under the age of 18. If someone different from usual is collecting your child please let the School Office know in advance as, unless we have been informed of this arrangement in advance, we will not allow pupils to leave school with anyone other than the named parents or guardians.
