The purpose of the role is to assist the admissions department to ensure that the admissions procedure is smooth and organized for pupil enrolment.
This is a key role at the Royal Grammar School, Guildford in Qatar (RGSGQ) and requires excellent spoken and written English as well as someone who is fluent in Arabic. It is a busy and demanding role and will require someone who is well organized, enjoys attention to detail and has the ability to deal with multiple priorities at the same time.
A presentable, friendly and confident personality is essential for this position, as it involves day to day contact with current and prospective parents. The School Secretary will be one of the main points of initial contact with parents and visitors and therefore responsible for first impressions of the RGSGQ.
The role includes but is not limited to:
• Being the main point of initial contact with parents through phone, e-mail or walk-in.
The Admissions and Marketing Department is a busy office and your duties may on occasion be extended to help the Admissions Manager and Registrar. This may include:
• Updating the marketing database of key contacts.
